when the fontpath isn't existant or empty, berlin
crashes when trying to use a font
it should probably exit on initialization or so?
tested on SDL, but I guess GGI has the same behaviour

GLDrawingKit will also crash (or fail hard) if
unifontpath doesn't have unifont.bdf.

Current behavior is to throw an exception. I
understand that the expected behavior is to:
1) Print an error message
2) exit()
Is this correct?

when no fonts are found, we now raise a
runtime_error, which is catched in main()...

Has the GLDK been fixed (last libart fix from
Stefan was for libartDK) ?
I guess its ok to close this, as long as this
issue is covered when we move towards the fontkit.

the bug is only with the libart DK, I think.
There isn't anything to fix for the GL DK. |

Worse bugs occur in the GLDK, it needs a similar
type of test.

Could Nicholas open another bug (and rename this
one), or else reopen this bug?
Depending upon how fast work is progressing with
the Fontkit...could this be closed in one bite?
Or is that so far off (M3+?) to not be worthwhile
atm?

GLDK's been fixed too.
The FontKit will be fixed when the next checkin on
that rolls in. But the FK isn't in the default
build yet anyways.
