When trying to y rotate a window past a certain point,
berlin crashes. This seems to only happen when using
LibArtDrawingKit.

This problem is actually a limitation of libArt:
It just crashes in some cornercases.
The solution is to improve the LibArtDrawingKit so
it makes sure those cases never reach libArt or to
upgrade libArt.
Since LibArt is no longer actively maintaned and
the successor 'Fritz' is in the making the
consensus is to just sit this bug out, wait for
Fritz and then retire the LibArtDK in favour of a
FritzDK.
Now, what shall we do with this bug? Leave it open
since it is not fixed? Close it since we won't fix
it anyway? What's the proper resolution to set if
we close it?

Aehm... it's actually called 'Fitz', not 'Fritz'.

Actually, libArt is capable of handling it
correctly. Modern libArt has a new unwinder which
has a different API. My current patch to task139
happens to do this as a side effect of my work
there, but I'd forgotten about this particular bug.

sort of. We all already have the newer libArt on our systems.
It's our usage of its API that needs to be upgraded. |
