Bug247 Editing
A build (in source tree) leaves a lot of .d files around. Sometimes, I remove the old include/ directory because things are using old header files. The dependency files don't handle this well at all. making all in server make -C server all make[2]: Entering directory `/disk2/Fresco/Berlin/server' make[2]: *** No rule to make target `/home/nicholas/Fresco/Fresco-C++/include/Fresco/DrawingKit.hh', needed by `kits.d'. Stop. make[2]: Leaving directory `/disk2/Fresco/Berlin/server' make[1]: *** [server] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/disk2/Fresco/Berlin' make: *** [Berlin] Error 2 Instead, if a .d file mentions a file that doesn't exist, the .d file is obviously old and should be regenerated.
